Flynn and Related Families

Obituary, published in the Tacoma News-Tribune on November 23, 2000: Naomi Jean Glastetter, a two-year resident of a care giver facility in Lacey, Washington, died on November 21, 2000 at the age of 91. She was born Naomi Meservey in Hoquiam, Washington on July 28, 1909, spent her childhood in Ocosta, Washington, and most of her adult life in Tacoma where she worked as a seamstress and later a retail clerk. Naomi was active in the Toastmistress organization where she taught public speaking to children. During the latter half of her life, she was active as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved to dance. Her former husband, Howard, preceded her in death in 1964. Her three children, Patricia Davis of Bonney Lake, David Glastetter of Tacoma and Howard Glastetter of Olympia, as well as eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive her. Sisters Mary Jane Jordan of Puyallup, Donna Moldenhauer of Ferndale, and brothers Ben Meservey of Gig Harbor and Bud Meservey of Aberdeen also survive her. Naomi was a kind lady and a good mother. Her motto was: “Train up a boy in the way he should go.... and walk that way yourself!” A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on December 2, 2000 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahâ’s Witnesses, 6722 South Yakima Ave., Tacoma, Washington.
