He was born on August 5, 1950, in Eau Claire to Robert and Alvern (Johnson) Lindbo. He graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1968. Since 1983, he has owned and operated Lindbo Drywall of Menomonie. Paul liked to fish in the summer and ice fish in the winter, and especially enjoyed going on fishing trips to Minnesota. He also enjoyed hunting and playing cards and cribbage. Paul was an avid Packers and Yankees fan. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Alvern of Hixton; one brother, Greg (Lynne) of Mondovi; one sister, Pam (Joe) Fryman of Wisconsin Rapids; two nieces, Tracy (Robert) Madvig and Angela Fryman; one nephew, Adam Fryman; great-nephews, Clayton and Wyatt; other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Paul R. Lindbo will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2007, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hixton, with the Reverend John Kaplinski officiating. Burial will take place in Trinity Rest Cemetery, Hixton. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. The Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, is assisting the family.
