Shared note	BIRTH: Cannot find. DEATH: Samuel Harrison died in Corinth Mississippi in the Union Army in October 1862. He served with the Army Engineers presumably repairing and maintaining the railroad system. Evidently he was wounded in the leg, had the leg amputated and died of infection. He served in Company F, 14th Wis. Infantry, which left from Fond du Lac, WI. He served with 3 of his sons ? MARRIAGE: 22 May 1842 Waterloo.Cannot find church records in Ontario, Canada. MILITARY SERVICE: Samuel enlisted in the US Army 21 Jul 1842 in Mackinac, MI, and was dischar ged 7 Aug 1847 in Puebla, Mexico, at the end of the Battle of Puebla. (He was awarded a lan d grant and received land in DePere,WI, where he farmed from 1847 until 1861 when he recruite d Company F, 14th Wis. Infantry. Mary was their first child, born 9 Mar 1843 in Canada ?, NY ?, MI ? altho city records o f Buffalo say she and HenryAlbert were born there. Henry Albert was second, born 23 Jan 1889 in Buffalo, NY. John James was third, born 31 Dec 1847 in Mackinack, MI. Richard, Harriet, Annetta, and Sarah were all born in Brown County,WI.
